Only a few seem to be sold on newsstands. Some have decent Web sites so you can get an idea of the editorial structure, departments, and recent stories, yeah, but it doesn't beat the mag itself. <BR/><BR/>How do you get your hands on copies prior to sending out that application?<BR/><BR/>Also, when you mention asking about the culture and what they're looking for, who do you ask? It might seem annoying to call up people at the magazine (especially when it says no calls), and it can be difficult to find people.<BR/><BR/>Thoughts?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
